Earlobe Repair

Earlobe Repair Surgery in Tampa, FL

Earlobe repair is a common in-office procedure that Dr. Demetri performs for patients who want to make their lobes smaller or repair enlarged earring holes. This only requires local anesthesia and can be performed in his brand-new office. After many years of wearing earrings of different sizes and weights, the earlobe can become stretched out or damaged from trauma, similar to cases seen in laceration repair or scar revision treatmentsDr. Demetri is meticulous with this procedure. He will remove the right amount of skin and soft tissue to leave you with a naturally appearing earlobe. Very fine sutures are used to make sure there is minimal to no scar. He will remove those sutures in about 5-6 days typically. After about 4-6 months following the procedure, he will allow his patients to re-pierce their ears.
