Chin implantation recovery is relatively quick! Most of our patients return to work within a week. The stitches are removed after about four or five days. And since Dr. Demetri meticulously hides the incision under the chin, it is not very noticeable!
Some swelling and bruising is expected but typically resolves within one to two weeks. We do recommend you avoid any contact sports or anything that may directly impact your new chin for about six to eight weeks.
